How to "Get Help"

To request assistance from the Florida Division of Emergency Management Forerunner homepage, click the white “Get help” button in the upper right-hand corner of the webpage. 

Once at this page, there are two ways to get help. Proceed with the best option for you.

1. Call or Email the FDEM Mitigation Team directly by phone number and/or email at (850) 815-4556 or floods@em.myflorida.com. 
   1. If directed to voicemail, please share the best number for your representative to call you back. You may also share your name, address, and more about the issue(s).  
   2. In your email, include your name, phone number, address, and the issue(s) you would like the representative to address.  
2. Submit a request to the FDEM Mitigation Team by answering the questions listed below on the webpage. 
   1. Type your response in the box below each question. 
   2. Be sure to respond to each question.
   3. After you have answered each question, you can leave a comment to share more with your representative. This may be particularly helpful if your issue is not listed.
   4. Click the blue “Submit request” button in the lower right-hand corner of the webpage after you have responded to all questions.
